Valentine's Day Prix Fixe Around New Haven - where?

I'm having a hard time finding a tasting menu or prix fixe menu for Valentines Day in or around New Haven. I'm not picky as to the type of food (though Italian is always good for Valentines Day), but I've only found a few that have these types of menu's at all. Carmen Anthony's is always reliable and tasty, but I'd like some other options. Kitchen Table is supposed to have a prix fixe, but they still haven't posted it to their website. I'm not sure what else?

      1. Look up Nini's Bistro - in the Ninth Square neighborhood in New Haven. They have a prix fixe, BYOB all the time, ranging from $29 to $40 depending on the number of courses you get. It's a great bargain, especially the BYOB part.

The menu's usually pretty eclectic - some Asian influences along with standard steaks and fish dish. The menu changes every few weeks, so take a look at the Web site before you go.

It's a leisurely meal. There's usually 2 waitresses for the whole place.

        I don't know if they're open for Valentine's Day, so I'd call. 562-6464.

Unfortunately they only do that certain days of the week. In addition, I don't see anything up about Valentines Day from them.

We are open on Sunday, Valentines Day.

        2. Le Petit Cafe, Branford: I can't be sure they still have space, but here's their menu.

          1. I ended up making a reservation at Carmen Anthony's. They're always reliably good, if a little unexciting (perhaps because I go there so often). I'm still open to finding another place, but so far I've been underwhelmed by the choices. Ibiza's the only other one I've found with a menu worth considering, so far. At least, for places that have actually bothered to post their menu's to their websites (I'll never understand the logic of restaurants that build websites then don't keep them up to date).
