Angelo's Tavola, Scotia

Four of us enjoyed Angelo's Tavola, the fairly-new dining room at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. Tableside-preparation of mozzarella a little gimmicky, but tasty (ordered in Dolce, with honey and walnuts; there are other choices). Golden beet appetizer, veal short ribs main, pistachio gelato dessert; those three were part of a prix fixe $30 meal, other diners equally satisfied; presentations were beautiful, service highly professional. Good value for a fine-dining meal, lots of pasta choices, seafood, veal. Salmon was had at our table, and scallops and veal, everyone left satisfied. Cocktails, glass of wine each, three courses, mozzarella starter, about $70pp.

  1. Thanks for the report PSZaas. We went to Tavolo about a year ago and our experience was mixed. Sounds like they're back on their game. A link to the menu:
