Spokane: walking distance from Gonzaga
There have been a couple of recent strings on Spokane but I'm seeking some specific advice. My little brother is a freshman at Gonzaga and doesn't have a car. I'd like to get him gift certificants to a couple of places to eat that's within walking distance. So think food for a college student with decent taste... not looking for fancy but definitely looking for good. Our mom is an amazing cook and he comes from the foodie town of Portland. Pizza, burgers, thai, bagels, etc etc. Heck, is there even a Starbucks within walking distance?

Yes, there is a Starbucks nearby, on Hamilton. There's a really good local pizza place right on the edge of campus, David's. And there's a good local burger place within easy walking distance called D'Lish's. Oh, and he'd be close to a wonderful (but quite divey) donut bakery, Donut Parade, also on Hamilton.
