Paris patisserie/chocolate classes

edwardkimuk Jan 30, 2010 01:52 PM

Hi

Im going to be in Paris in April for a week, staying in the Marais area, and was hoping to take a class in either patisserie (for macarons, which I have some experience with, or anything typically french) or in chocolate work. My french is unfortunately not so great so an English speaking course would be preferred.

Thanks for any advice you can provide

Hello -- I am also going to Paris in April! And am looking for a croissant class. I will share what I find with you re: macarons.

If you can get by in French, the best croissant class is at the École Lenôtre school for dedicated amateurs. They have a croissant class on April 12:

I`ve attached a photo of croissants and pains au chocolat I made back in Seattle after taking the class. My avatar is a photo of me taken in a different class.
