need suggestion for lunch today in San Leandro or thereabouts

Hey Hounders,
Anyone have a recommendation for somewhere to have lunch today in the vicinity of San Leandro?

(I'm meeting a friend who's in town for work.)
Thanks!

It's too late now but there's Rocky's Charcoal Grill in downtown SL. Mom and Pop burger joint, very casual...but they use organic beef and grill on real charcoal. A very good burger for not much. (Don't think they're related to the Rocky's in Berkeley.)

      thanks everyone for your help!
i'm grateful for the list of options to offer my friend visiting from out of the area.
      chowhound is the greatest invention!

The generically-named Korean BBQ is good. Used to be affiliated with Ohgane, similar menu, mostly Korean customers.

There are a couple of good-looking Mexican places on E 14th between downtown San Leandro and the Bayfair shopping center.

Per a Yelp review -- Han Dae Gam. Same owners, menu, and staff

Yeah, same owners, no change except they stopped calling it Ohgane.

That saves me about 15 minutes of driving when I'm going north to Ohgane! Duly noted!

Any particular part of San Leandro? I was driving through San Leandro last night and was reminded that it's really under reported on chowhound. There were some Mexican places that looked interesting, for example. But for you purposes maybe Luke's Grill (Greek, in "downtown" San Leandro). There's also a decent dim sum place on E 14th -- Prince Dim Sum House, that surprisingly good. Prince looks like a dive from the outside but is very nice on the inside, BTW.

My friend's eager to go to the discount mall -- is it called marina blvd?
The 2 places you mentioned sound good.
And I'm wondering if we might go a bit further south to one of the South Asian malls...

Marina Square off of Marina Blvd.

When I go shopping at Nordstrom Rack, I like to stop at Guadalajara off on E 14th.

It's quite a way farther south to the Asian malls.
