I am looking for an affordable, "not cheap-eats" restaurant with a fun atmosophere in Boston, Cambridge or Brookline. Although I love Asian and Indian food, that is what I usually eat when I go out for lunch. I would love to go somewhere different and special. Thanks

A few thoughts. In Cambridge/Belmont is Sofra, same owner as Oleana.
On Cambridge Street in Boston, Pierrot Bistro. Grotto, just off of Cambridge Street.
In Brookline, Pomodoro or Orinoco next door.
Not sure if these places are open on Mondays.
