Steaks in Wilmington DE?

We are looking for a place to have good steaks before seeing a play at the Delaware Theater Company - anyone have any ideas? Other suggestions are also welcome but no seafood. Thanks

    1. Not Conley-Ward...expensive, lousy service and mediocre meat.
Sullivan's is nicer, but still way over-priced, and food isn't that good.

Conley Ward closed a few years ago, replaced by CW Harborside which also failed and is to be replaced by something owned by the Big Fish folks.

CW closed a few YEARS ago? Oh man, am I getting old.

            2. I don't believe there are a lot of places in walking distance, but a few options nearby.
Along the riverfront, on Justison Street, is Iron Hill. Decent steaks, great beer. I also like the steak at Washington Street Ale House.

Iron Hill is great! They have a very diverse menu, including steaks. I can't speak to the steak specifically, but we've never had a bad meal there.

                  • Fiona, This is probably too late but the Rehoboth Big Fish has amazing fire-grilled steaks so it dawned on me that the new Wilmington location might as well.
