I can recommend The Royal Warsaw in Elmwood Park, as an excellent choice to dine or drink......they have a great Steak Tartare, single or double sized portions. Quality ingredients and very moderately priced in a very clean and attractive environment. Also, it's very close to Piast Provisions down the street. Piast has also opened a new place for hot food in neighboring Garfield, where you can purchase and sit in house to eat. I have not yet been, but it's on the short list to do.

People who like Polish food also like German food. That's why the Black Forest Inn is so popular. Many Polish patrons along with Germans, Irish, Italians, etc. because the food is outstanding.

This weekend Black Forest Inn is having their Fasching Festival also known as German Mardi Gras. It's a mixture of some New Orleans dishes plus their popular German/Continental fare.
