Treasure Beach, Jamaica

Has anyone been? Any good eating in that area? Recommendations?

I'd appreciate anything, even if it's bad news...

I'm going March 21-28. Not sure I'll have anything before you go, but will definitely report back after.

Likewise, let me know if you hear anything!

There is a place called Oliver's Dutch Pot in the new(ish) shopping plaza on the road that goes to the beach. Here's info from a Google search: May Len Plaza, Treasure Beach; 876-375-5217. That's the one we liked the best. Great local food, oxtail especially.

My only other recommendation would be the Pelican Bar. Just walk out to the beach and bargain with the boat people to get you there and to the Black River. Get a plate of lobster, it's good.
