Double Zero Flour for Pasta Making

After a quick scan of this board, I couldn't find any posts that matched my search. I was wondering if anyone knew of any places that sell 00 grade flour for pasta making.

  1. Fiesta Farms or Diana Grocery on St Clair are 2 reliable sources. Fiesta Farms often has a variety of brands.

    1. Highland Farms has a good selection.

Thanks guys. Do you guys know if there are any spots around the danforth or leslieville where i could grab some? I'm guessing there might be a shop on college that might have some. Can anyone confirm that?

There's an italian grocery close to Danforth Pizza house (forget the name), which might it. Or, further east towads Coxwell, Jerry's Supermarket might.

I was at Jerry's the other day and noticed that they stock 00 flour.

You're thinking of Maselli's, and, yes, they do carry 00 flour.

It's a little east of Leslieville but I have gotten it at Meat on the Beach at Queen and Woodbine before. You could contact them to ask if they still have it:

They have some at Cheese Boutique as well but it's a bit out of the way for you.

Went and picked up the flour from Meat on the Beach. How did I not know about this little gem of a place? Looking forward to going back. Thanks for the tip!

St. Lawrence Mkt - go to Domenic's in the basement, northwest corner. They carry bags of Tipo OO.

                1. re: Derksen

Thanks, that's good to know since i'm down their a fair bit.

It was a tough find. Ask the staff if you can't see it. It is in their 'rear' store area.

                  2. re: Derksen

The store in question is called Domino's Foods rather than Domenic's.
                    Here's a link:

You can also get 'Tipo 00' flour at La Salumeria, 2021 Yonge Street. Problem is, the prices are generally higher on everything. For example, a bag of fregola is $4 more at La Salumeria than Domino's ($12 vs. $8).
