Grand Shanghai in Edison off Rte 1. Amazing for soup dumplings. And also get an order of the chive pancake. Incredible.

No, the dim sum, congee, and live fish tank is West Lake, just down the road from Shanghai Bun. Do they have soup dumplings as well?

shanghai bun is DIRTY! sorry, nothing positive to contribute only because i dont know of another place but i do know i def did not like SH BUN, -- help was nasty too, and would never return there! Ive been going to chinatown for many, many years, seen all types of joints.

SHBun has redone their interior and it's much nicer now. Same menu and same prices.

Well, actually, the prices have risen. For example, soup buns went from $5.25 to $5.45, and pan fried buns from $4.25 to $5.45. In fact, pretty much everything on their bun and soup menu has gone up. They've also added a few items.

Gotta tell you...Shanghai Bun is NOT dirty...it is AUTHENTIC however....
