You aren't going to find too many gems in that immediate area. For standard red sauce Italian, you could do The Villa on Route 30 in Wayland. It is a 5 min drive from Regis.
I don't know of any restaurants in Weston, but you can head a couple miles in either direction, essentially and have access to Wellesley restaurants (The Cottage, CPK, Bertucci's come to mind for something kid friendly) or Luigi's in Wayland.
