Side Dish/Salad/Soup for Baked Haddock?
Going over to my buddy's house for dinner Saturday night, and he's preparing baked haddock. I want to make some sort of appropriate side dish (or salad, or soup, you get the idea) that will get some "wow"s. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Well then, the sky's the limit - that's a pretty flavor-neutral way to make the fish. If it were me, I'd make a nice crisp side salad, if you want to get "fancy", you could add some dried cranberries and walnuts and some gorganzola and a fruity vinaigrette. That's a heavy meal, in my mind, and the best foil for that is a good salad!
