Don't buy Pantone mugs

Soop Jan 28, 2010 03:08 AM

If you've ever seen those cool looking Pantone mugs, trust me, they're not worth the price.
The mugs are the absolute cheapest quality I've ever seen (they stain easily, the handles are all random heights up the side of the mug, the paint chips easily).

Tried to complain to them, but they've got hardly any contact details and no-one has responded.

I'm tempted to pirate my own mugs.

Timely post for me because I was looking for a couple. Trying to find a local (not mail order) source in NYC for single mugs. But your post has made me reconsider....where did you buy yours--can you not take this up with the retailer?

I got all of mine from Borders in their sale (they've liquidated now). Luckily, on average I paid less that the usual £8 for mine, about £5-6. One of them is broken already out of the 4 I got.
