Dinner Party for 18-20

I am trying to throw a surprise dinner party for 18-20 people. I don't need a private room (although one would be nice, but not necessary). Looking to spend around $50 pp, so I don't expect anything too fancy. American, Italian, BBQ....Prefer East Side somewhere (upper, lower, midtown...) I just need som ideas of places that are good for a group this large, maybe somewhere that we can do a pix fixe, which makes it easier for a big group.. any thoughts?

At Wildwood, you can get a whole roasted pig plus all-you-can-eat sides for somewhere in that range, I think. I saw a group doing it the other day and it looked fun AND delicious. You have to arrange in advance though so they get the pig.

I can't tell if you would be open to chinese food, but if you are they have great private rooms and banquet menus in your price range at Congee Village and Congee Bowery.
