Sarasota: Good food, good wine, and kids
I've never been to Sarasota before but I'll be visiting the week of 2/15 - 2/19 with my wife and 2 kids (age 3 and 5). We are staying with my father in law who just moved there a few months ago. All the adults like good food (often Italian focused) and good wine.
I'd love to get some suggestions where we wouldn't be out of place with a 3 and 5 year old but where we could still order a good bottle of wine for the adults.
Thanks in advance for any input.

Even though it is a part of Outback(therefor a chain), Roy's on 41 is fantastic with kids!!! They bring out a DVD player and at the end of dinner let the kids make their own sundae. I usually ask for a kitchen tour and bring my 2 y/o with me, she loves it! It is not cheap but is excellent Hawaiian Fusion. I would also recommend Tandoor on Clark Road, it is a small Indian place that has authentic cuisine, they dumb down the heat so don't get mild!! If you go to downtown Main Street there are a ton of places to walk to, Sarasota is vacation heavy so most places are going to be accomodating, I've lived here my whole life so we just bring my daughter everywhere, no probs. yet :).
