Supermarkets in Delray Beach/Boca Raton Area
Hi,
I just moved to Delray Beach from New York.
I usually shop at Trader Joes's and Fairway but they don't have that here.
So far I've been to Publix, Publix Greenwise, Whole Foods, and The Boys Farmers Market.
Is there anything else that I'm missing?
I like gourmet markets/organic markets..places like that.
I would like to check out the Fresh Market too, but I haven't gotten a chance to yet. Whole Foods is similar but the prices are very high.
Thanks!!!

It's funny you mentioned Joe's Market and Western Beef. There's actually a Western Beef on 441 in Boca Raton and it is excellent. Love the meat department and the bakery makes fresh bread all day long. Feels like walking through a street in Brooklyn with that amazing smell of bread baking. Anyone looking for a great supermarket with affordable prices should definitely check out Western Beef.

Cringe, the western beef on 441 is pretty good I agree, but have to make sure you choose a good cut, Their chicken also havent been the best for me, seems that they use older chickens so they seemto be tuff, but all around I like western beef alot, great fresh produce also> For really good produce, I suggest check out Bedners on 441 between atlantic and Boynton Beach, You can go pick your own tomatos, and they are some of the best I have had in Florida.

For a gourmet market, try Joseph's Classic Market in Boca Raton. They're the same family that owns the Western Beef supermarkets in the NYC area. This is their upscale market. Among other things, they have a very good selection of seafood and their weekly specials are usually a good deal.
