If you like TJ's Tarte d'Alsace, you will like Tart de Champignon

Here's another big hit. Like the Tarte d' Alsace, the Tart de Champignon has the same crust. But it is studded with mushrooms, emmanthal and parmesan cheeses. I just started buying these at my local TJ's this month. Enjoy and stock up!

I tried this back in december and fell in love with it! And I mean... IN LOVE! I could eat it everyday, if I didn't care about my size. But ever since, it's been impossible to find. Seems like everyone else has fallen in love with it too.
I bake mine directly on my oven rack to get the crispy crust. But if you don't like it, no biggie... more for me :)

Maybe I didn't cook it properly, but the crust never got totally crispy. It was very limp and soggy, esp. in the middle. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same problem with the Tarte de Champignon, soggy. I was disappointed since I like the Tarte d'Alsace and love mushrooms. I baked it on a pizza stone too. I never had issues with the Tarte d'Alsace, baking on a regular cookie sheet.

Well, I would if I liked mushrooms anyways.

I haven't bought the tarte d'Alsace in a while - are they still carrying it?

They were carrying the tarte d'Alsace as recently as two weeks ago when I was there.
