South of Fort Lauderdale

Some friends have been nice enough to agree to drive up I-95 from Miami to meet us for dinner before we cruise out from Fort Lauderdale. We're staying in Dania Beach and looking for a good restaurant not far away, on the Miami side of FLL -- not haute cuisine, but better than a burger. Ideas appreciated.
