Has anyone eaten at The Jockey Club since the new chef started cooking?
I haven't eaten at the JC in 40 years, but back i the day, they rocked.
Thanks very much! My impression is that it had not been able to duplicate its former glory for quite a while. But I am intrigued by the new chef. He's got a really impressive resume.
Back when DC was still a sleepy southern town, the Jockey Club was a ray of hope. They served the best soft-shell crab I've ever had, and the service was lovely.
That's also my impression. But since we are no longer a SST, it has tried to reinvent itself several times. Has anyone been there in the last month or so?
