Good Cheesesteaks near Kimmel Center?

Any good cheesesteaks near the Kimmel Center? If not, what's the closest that might be open late?

Didn't Rick's Steaks move to Downstairs at the Bellevue? That would be a place to grab one before a show. I think they are open until 6pm. Easiest place is to go to Old City or to South Street after a show. Lots of choices.. Cosmis, Ishkabibbles, Jim's etc.

I got a steak at Rick's a few weeks ago.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm not as picky as many others are about their steaks - I think that many many places serve a perfectly acceptable steak sandwich.

Yes, Rick's moved to the Bellevue food court. I also like Gennarro's (12th & South) with american - they're not the Rick's/Pat's/Tony Luke's style.

Gennaro's has a more finely chopped steak with the cheese melted into it. It's basically a big goopy mess of meat and cheese interlaced on the roll as opposed to having the cheese on the bread with coarsely chopped steak on top of it.

I also highly recommend getting a cheesesteak with over easy eggs on it at Little Pete's. It's not on the menu, but they'll make it for you. I like how they melt the cheese on top of the meat and egg.

I was thinking of where to send someone for a cheesesteak near the Kimmel and I forgot about Rick's. Thats the sad part, now that it's out of the Reading Terminal, it's easy to forget about. Rick does make a great steak and I am glad that you reminded me of it.
