Recommendations in Boca Raton?
I need recommendations for a higher-end restaurant destination for dinner with my parents in Boca. We have already tried Chops/Kee Grill/City Fish. Italian would be nice(Ferraro's?). Thanks in advance for your help.

Saporissimo on Palmetto and Federal is something else. On recommendation from CHers we went. Oh boy you are in for a treat.
The owner/chef reminds me of the chef in Lady and the Tramp. I swear he did the voice over for the move! He is fantastic and really cares for his foods.

Trattoria Romana is one of the most happening places in south Fla. Always packed with well dressed and attractive customers, it serves memorable Italian food in an energetic and warm setting.
The food here is traditional Big Italian, with some updates. The menu is extensive, ranging from pastas, risottos, fish, chicken, veal, with updates like pizzas and a low cal menu that looks pretty tasty. We have gone several times with large parties, and everyone always seems very satisfied. The service is fast and friendly,the ambiance terrific, and the food is excellent. I can especially recommend the calamari, frito misto, Caesar salad, Papparedelle Con Funghi Shiitake, and Veal Scaloppine Marsala. I have never heard anyone complain about the preparation, taste, or portion size of their meals.
Some will however complain about the cost. The good stuff always costs a little more.
Reservsations mandatory. Regulars get preferred seating and preferential treatment. Deal with it, it's worth it.
