Mini Burgers

Hi,
I am hosting a party in a couple of weeks and plan on making those mini burgers as part of the menu. Does anyone know where you can purchase mini buns specific to the mini patties in the city? A freind suggested using dinner rolls.

I have asked a few bakeries and they don't supply them.

Thanks
H

  1. I recall reading on here that if you call ahead ACE Bakery will do them for you.

Apparently OMG Baked Goodness sells them also.

    2. Loblaws at dundas west and bloor sell them. It seemed odd to me when I saw them there as I hadn't seen them anywhere else in a retail setting. Maybe call your local Loblaws and see if they have them or can get them.

        1. I've use Harbord Bakery challah rolls. They were perfect in every way. My best discovery of 2009.

          1. I got mine from McCewans. They went well with the ground Kobe Style Beef I bought for the patties :)

            1. I'm planning on doing the same, does anyone know where I can get the actual mini sliders? Thanks.

Loblaws has a sesame seed slider bun as a regular item, they also have slider size chiabatta rolls. Quality is about what you would expect from a big commercial bakery but if you want to channel a fast food burger we all know that has a sesame seed bun they are spot on.

Thanks for your reply. However I am looking for the actual mini burgers :)

I saw the buns at Loblaws, they are not that bad.
