Edmonton: where to buy kaffir lime leaves?

k.ts Jan 25, 2010 09:05 AM

One of my recipe books has kaffir lime leaves in a lot of the recipes.... and I'm doubtful as to my success if I look for them at Safeway!

I see them all the time at the shops in Little India. Try the Spice Center (9280 34Ave)

Try T&T supermarket in the produce or frozen section. I have a stash kept in my freezer at all times. It makes a huge difference in Thai curries!

Just saw huge bundles of fresh lime leaves at T&T in West Ed on the weekend

Lucky 97 or T&T have always had them fresh when I go looking, I pop the left overs in the freezer.

I have bought them at Save-On Foods in Mayfield Common.
