Yemenite food in Paris

I recently had some incredible Yemenite Saltah in Oakland, CA (Oasis Food Market on Telegraph & 30th) but next week I'm moving to Paris. Does anyone know of any good Yemenite food there? I've searched the web but found nothing.
Thanks Chowhounds!

  1. You need to talk to José-Marie Bel (who goes by José) at the Espace Reine de Saba. It's a cultural center with a particular interest in Yemen (José has been traveling to Yemen on a regular basis for over 30 years and is probably the leading expert on Yemini art and architecture in France) and while he won't cook food for you (or maybe he will!) he does sell recipe books, occasionally has products from Yemen, and will certainly be able to tell you if there is a Yemeni dinner in town.

Thank you so much Vincent! I'll look into that right away.

    2. Huh? Coming to Paris and this is your first thought ? Again- huh?!
