MSP Cá Kho Tộ in the Twin Cities?

Hello all,

anyone have favorite places in the Twin Cities (University Ave. would be great as I live nearby) for Cá Kho Tộ which is catfish braised in caramel sauce in a clay pot? I'd love to get some opinions. Thanks!

I've never heard of that before, but it sounds wonderful. Looking forward to responses.

I'd like to know where that is served , even though it sounds just a bit...like...Oscar the Grouch's dinner.

Claypot fish and cooking in a sweet/savory caramel sauce are one of the hallmarks of Vietnamese cuisine. One of the frustrating things with the various Vietnamese/Thai restaurants in town is the lack of very important dishes for the cuisines. Seems like every restaurant has the same menu. I used to get this dish at a tiny place over on University but it is no longer there. Here's some links with info about the dish:

and a video on making it:

I know this isn't in St. Paul, but I saw it on the menu at Caravelle-connected to Pho 79 on Nicollet in Minneapolis.
