Haven't tried these but may be worth some investigation.

Well, you might want to start in Astoria. There's numerous markets and restaurants representing Istria, Bosnia, Montenegro, etc.
There's two easily accesible Euro markets under the subway on 31st. One creatively titled Euro Market. Good beer selection.
Most of the food takes the form of Cevapcici. I'm closest to the mini-chain Djerdan on 31st ave
(there's one in midtown too) which specializes in burek as well. Pasha is suppsedly associated with the Bosna Expess people and is up by the 30th ave stop. Stare Most gets a lot of attention but I haven't been. Also you can search for a place called Ukus, or another Cevap place down on 34th ave called Cevabdzinica Sarajevo.
Then there are the two "soccer clubs" which are both supposedly Istrian and are more of a restaurant atmosphere (and offer alcohol unlike most of the Bosnian joints). One is on Astoria blvd and may just be called the Istrian Soccer Club. Then there's a place called Rudar which I hear is better and got written up by the Village Voice not too long ago.
I've gotten very drunk on Rakija at the Montenegro Grill on 34th st. They got written up by Serious Eats for their brains, but they were more of a bar when I went. There's another Montenegrin bar down on Broadway. Dino's, an attempt at Italian foood west of the subway on Newtown, also has a Montenegrin part of its menu.
Hope that helps.
