Chong King Spicy Chicken
Greetings all - new member and first time poster here, so I hope I'm making this post on the correct board.
I'm looking for a recipe for chong king (or chung king) spicy chicken. I've had this dish at a few Sichuan restaurants and so far haven't had any luck finding a recipe for it online. It looks to be a fairly simple dish, chicken, bell peppers, onions, garlic, chilies, but I have no idea on the seasonings that go into it. If anyone has a recipe, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks,
Chris

Welcome!
The problem might be spelling. Try searching for "chongqing chicken recipe" - you'll get plenty of results. Here's the one that popped up at the top of the list; hopefully it's what you're looking for:

re: bear
Just wanted to follow up after making dinner tonight. Taking the suggestion from alanbarnese, I did indeed find many recipes when searching for chongqing chicken". I ended up settling on this one:

It was great, exactly the sort of tongue numbing heat I was looking for. As this was my first go at it, I followed the recipe to the letter, however I think in the future I'll add onion and bell pepper, as that's how I'm used to having this dish in restaurants.
Incidently, I totally blanked on the fact that I have a sichuan cookbook, Land of Plenty by Fuchsia Dunlop. I just checked and there's a reciple for this, so I'll have to give that version a shot sometime as well.
Thanks again!
