Question about Nazareth veg dish
I found a menu online (below) but it's not very detailed. To say the least. Does this place offer the normal selection in a veg platter (at least 4 or 5 veg dishes)?

Yep, their veggie platter is pretty much the standard 4 or 5 items (pretty sure it's 5), but it is really good. The menu in that link looks very old, as they now have a couple of seafood options (the fish being better than the "seafood stew"), and the prices have risen about $1 per dish. Still an incredible value and a fantastic place.
The one drawback is that the service can get pretty slow during busy times, as the owner basically runs the whole show (with one cook in the back). Consider that if you've got somewhere to be right after dinner.

We'll go early and hope to avoid the rush. Thanks for the feedback!

Apparently going at 5:15 isn't early enough! This place is BUSY! I've been to at least half a dozen Ethiopian places in Toronto and I've never seen one so busy--and with so few places to put all the people who want to eat their food. I can kind of see why given that the portions are very generous even for an Ethiopian place and the food was definitely among the best Ethiopian I've had--probably the best. But the pressure of getting a seat is pretty fierce. If two more people in our party had decided to come, we'd have been completely out of luck.
Oh and for such good food, I wish there was enough light in the place to SEE it! Maybe it's partly because it's the dark days of winter, but I have no idea how many different veg dishes there were because I couldn't see which were duplicates. Yeah, it's a bar---but really, isn't it a restaurant first? More light bulbs, please!

They're always busy. Best time to go is right when they open at 3pm. By 5 all of the tables are taken. There were 15 people waiting when we finished up at 7 last Monday.

Yeah, that is a real drawback. Dinner at 3pm not so much what I want to do!

Maybe make it a late lunch? :)

I tend to be brunch or dinner the way my life is right now. But it's still a mental food footnote...

I was there at 5:15. It was crazy busy the whole time I was there. Though towards the end, it might have been getting a little less busy, oddly enough. (I can't remember exactly when I left---maybe 6:45 or so...)
