Dinner in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Beyerly Hills at 10-11pm ?

honkman Jan 22, 2010 10:08 AM

On our regular weekend trips to LA we often arrive late on Friday night and are always looking for good restaurants where you can get good food around that time and don't get rushed. The two restaurants we are mostly go to at that time are Pizzeria Mozza and Animal. Are there any other good ones open late in that area (Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Beyerly Hills) ?

Would love to hear this list expanded to restaurants that stay open late every night-our pathetic work lives often end after 8 or 9 and we would love someplace other than Canters, Swingers and Toast to sit down for a reasonable, everyday meal at every day prices.

I don't know if Luques still does it's after 10 bar menu, but it's worth checking out.

The Lucques bar menu is still as good as ever (namely, the steak frites), but the window is small: 9:00-10 on weeknights, 9:30-10:30 on Friday/Saturday.

Just made a reservation for Gjelina next Friday for our next trip (and at BistroLQ and Lucques) for the other days.
