Scottsdale: Krispy Kreme opening in DC ranch
Tonight we ate at the Herb Box, which was really nice and probably way more deserving of a topic than Krispy Kreme.
But I was just kind of shocked to see a Krispy Kreme in DC ranch. That place has tried so many different things maybe that will be something that finally pulls more people in. Who knows.
Anyways the Herb Box was really good, will definitely visit again :)

When the first Denver Krispy Kreme location opened about a quarter mile away from our home, there was such a crowd that off-duty policemen were brought in to direct traffic. We had to take the long way around to run our normal weekend errands. Since we moved here from Atlanta, where there's a Baptist church and a Krispy Kreme at every major intersection, we were somewhat dumbfounded. (It is, after all, just fried dough and not the very best fried dough at that.)
Since then they seem to be doing an OK business but the hysteria died down after a few weeks.
