New Meat, Poultry & Egg CSA Delivering to PORTLAND

If you are looking for a regular source of healthy, delicious meat and poultry for your family, and want to support a local sustainable family farm that uses humane animal handling practices, consider a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Share from Sweet Home Farms.

Regular Share: Our meat and egg CSA features a mix of our naturally raised healthy meats and poultry, including 100% grassfed beef and lamb, natural pork, and pasture-raised chickens and eggs. Goat is available too for those interested in trying this flavorful lean meat.
Meats and poultry are packaged, vacuum sealed, and frozen at local processing facilities.

Each monthly share will be delivered in a cooler so that it will be easy to pick up and take home. You bring the cooler back at the next drop off and we’ll exchange it with your next monthly share.

As a CSA member, you’ll also receive our monthly e-mail newsletter with news from the farm and a variety of tasty recipes and cooking instructions.

One share will include 60+ lbs of meat, poultry and eggs, with about 20 lbs delivered each month for three months.

Each month your share will include approximately 1 Chicken (about 4 lbs), 10 lbs Beef, 5 lbs Pork and/or Lamb (unless lamb- or pork-free share requested), 2 dozen Eggs

Goat meat is available upon request. You will receive a mix of all cuts from each animal, as well as beef bones for soup/stock or for your pets.

How many meals does this make? If you figure an average of 1.5 lbs for each meal, a membership will provide 13 meals per month.

Chicken & Egg Share: Each monthly share includes 4 pasture-raised chickens (about 4 lbs each) and 2 dozen eggs from our free range hens.

Schedule: Pick up will be on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12pm-2pm

Cost:
Regular Share: The 3-month subscription is $390 for 60+ lbs of meat and 6 dozen eggs.
Chicken & Egg Share: The 3-month subscription is $177 for about 48lbs of chicken and 6 dozen eggs.
An additional refundable $50 cooler deposit is required for all new members.
