Coleman's mustard

I"ve been looking for Coleman's mustard in Loblaws, No Frills, Metro and McEwan's and can't find it. Anyone know who sells it?

Also looking for Campbells Chicken Gumbo soup and can't find it either. Can it be these 2 items are no
longer made?

Thanks for the info. If you saw it at Loblaws they must have a better distribution system than some people think. They don't have it at the Loblaws near Laird and Redpath (?) as of this am. The Sobey's at Laird and Wicksteed didn't have it this am.

I saw Coleman's at Metro (Don Mills Centre - Don Mills & Lawrence) today. They were lined up on the back of one of those chest fridge/freezers at the back of the store near the fresh meat/seafood section. There had to be at least 20 of the little suckers. I can remember walking by them and thinking, "I like Coleman's because it has a great taste and practically blows the top of my head off....kinda like wasabi". And Metro is open 24 hours.

Ok I'll try the Metro tomorrow. Hard to figure why they aren't everywhere like Keen's.

Well now you got me wondering....was it Colmans or Keens that I saw??? The labels are pretty similar.....from a distance....same colours and all. I am pretty sure it was Colmans. Now I have to go back to Metro and find out.

            1. re: Livingtoeat

My bad. Checked out Metro and it would seem that it was Keens that I spied with my little eye. Checked out McEwans (actually found a parking spot!!) and notta. I also went to the Sobeys on Broadview and they didn't have it either. I will keep my eyes open for you (unemployment + OCD = The Great Mustard Chase!). I apologize for sending you on a wild goose chase.

FOUND IT!!! The Chocolate Box (Donlands just a scooch south of O'Connor on the east side) carrys a lot of Colman products including the mustard.....$3.69 a jar. It is available in their store or you can order it online from their website:

I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier....I live right around the corner from the store!!! Doh!

                1. re: Livingtoeat

I also checked out the Metro at Don Mills and I think I found the small display of Keen's that you at first thought was Colmans. Anyway it seems Colmans is available at Eglinton Square. I'll look into that on the weekend. So far no reply from Campbells re the current state of Chicken Gumbo.

      2. I was just at Metro (Don Mills Centre -- searching for Old Bay Seasoning) and I saw Coleman's there. I know they have it at Loblaws along with the powder you can mix with vinegar to make your own. Sorry, the gumbo is not on my radar so don't know where you can get it.

        1. I just saw Campbell's chicken gumbo in the Sobey's on St Clair east of Yonge. You could try the Sobey's at Laird & Wicksteed.

Mrs Bridges at the Eglinton Square Mall has Colman's mustard too -

I looked into the mustard situation at Sobey's at Laird and Wicksteed and no Colmans.

I have been to Eglinton Square several times since Christmas and I didn't see Mrs Bridges. Can you give some direction as to its location? East of west of the food court or near the Bay or some other locations?

            1. re: Herne

It's the chicken gumbo I saw at Sobey's.

Mrs Bridges is at the entrance to the food court. Just go to the food court, you can't miss it.

Thank you all for your help. I had thought that these items from my youth had disappeared but I guess you just have to know where to get them.

Well I found the Colman's mustard at Mrs Bridges at the Eglinton Square this afternoon.

And I found Chicken Gumbo at Valumart---my nearest supermarket. But I had looked there before and they had none. So maybe there was a city wide shortage that has now been fixed--or maybe not:)
