Our favorite is L'AOC www.restoaoc.com - wonderful house made pates, excellent steaks and be sure to try the duck confit pommentier - one of the best things i have ever eaten

For a fancier place IL VINO d' Enrico Bernardo www.ilvinobyenricobernardo.com is really fun, especially for wine geeks - the blind tasting menu is super fun and engaging - it may not be the tip-top from a culinary perspective, but it will be very good and you will have fun

For another fancy option there is L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon www.joel-robuchon.com - the langoustines and the potatoes are amazing

Also what is the range a dinner would cost in L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon?

(to answer to xymoxtn) L'Atelier is fun, but not for more than 2 people (IMO) because people are seated at the bar (side-by-side), maybe to to "La Table" instead ?

Could Claude Colliot be considered "trendy" ? me think it could be a good choice.

Couldn't have said it better. l'Atelier is impossible for over 2 and Colliot is trendy as is KGB, MBC and Chateaubriand at night only.
