My favorite pizzas are the Bacon, salami, fennel sausage, guanciale, tomato & mozzarella, or the squash blossom.

Agree with the recommendation for the guanciale and squash blossom pizzas. For appetizers I like the stuffed squash blossoms, the brussel sprouts, the chopped salad, the garlic bread (it's called something other than garlic bread on the menu). And you have to get the butterscotch budino for dessert!

I totally second the butterscotch budino! And I believe there is a dessert wine pairing that goes wtih it.

vino - costa d’amalfi furore
1st antipasti – request the antipasto salad (off-menu - nancy's recipe)
2nd antipasti - fried squash blossoms with ricotta
3rd antipasti - bone marrow al forno
bruschette - chicken livers, capers, parsley and guanciale
1st pizza - bianca with fontina, mozzarella, sottocenere and sage. Add fennel sausage to it.
2nd pizza - goat cheese, leeks, scallions, garlic and bacon
3rd pizza - egg, guanciale, escarole, radicchio and bagna cuada
dolce – butterscotch budino
gelati - vanilla, espresso
if available, the ipswich clam pizza is a must!
if you go on a tuesday, the crispy duck leg is a requisite.
bon appetit!

I totally agree - the squash blossoms are great. I also really, really loved the olives. I could have 5 orders of those (need to make them at home). I, personally, could have stuck with just appetizers and skipped the pizza. We had the same on that degustateur put as his (her) 1st pizza based on recs here. The butterscotch budino is fantastic! Have fun! ;-)

Could i take my gluten-intolerant guy with me to Mozza -- would he be able to eat a decent meal or would he just have to watch me pig out?

Lots of good things on the menu. Some folks I know don't even go there for pizza, they go for the duck which is served one day a week. There are daily specials and lots of appetizers and salads.

it depends on what you like, but . . .
apps:
beets w/horseradish - so good. even if you don't like beets, you'll probably like this. it's just great.
fried squash blossoms. these are just crispy and light and salty and delectable. really lovely.
i've tried the fried goat cheese, meatballs, marrow, brussel sprouts, cracked wheat, and cauliflower and all are okay - but not superstars.
pizzas:
goat cheese / bacon pizza - AMAZING! it's not light - but has that kind of lightish feel b/c of the goat cheese.
meat lover's pizza (you can order it as that - i'm not sure of the name) - DOUBLE AMAZING. this is greasy, but it is literally just the best. so savory and rich.
margarita - simple and delicious. cheese, sauce, and - most important - crust shine.
you can ask for crushed red pepper on the side.
have a fun time!

The pizza with the yukon potato, egg, pancetta is great.
And the lasagna on Sundays.

i like the bone marrow a lot. 2nd the bacon w/ ricotta pizza.
In general, i like the appetizers much more than the pizzas.
QUESTION: Are the mussels any good? I'm going back to mozza in a month,

Lots of good recommendations already. Just a couple of additional suggestions -- I love the eggplant caponata, and the garlic bread (which I think they call pane bianco or some such thing). Both are superb. Also, really like the egg pizza, which is not something I would ordinarily have ordered.
