Sunday luncheon in North Jersey

I am looking for a restaurant to host a Sunday luncheon in April for about 100 people. I would love a cool loungy type atmosphere- maybe with a big bar and comfy seating for a great cocktail hour first. Thanks!

The Stone House in Warren would do just fine, don't know if it's too central rather than north.

went there once and was very disappointed with everything from food to service..it is a cool space, though kinda dark for a luncheon -and i think closed on sundays

Bacari Grill in Wash Twp came to mind-- a gorgeous environment, a big bar, enough room to accommodate. The reviews on the food are sometimes mixed, but for a luncheon it should be acceptable. It does meet all your criteria.

...i was tempted to respond, "yeah, well good luck with that" as finding a place in north jersey that can host a number of people, can sell alcohol, has good food and has a cool vibe is quite the CHALLENGE (i can't even fathom adding comfy seating to the list) The only 2 places I can think of happen to be upscale greek: Axia in Tenafly and Nisi Estuario in Englewood....Both have liquor licenses, very good food, and if I'm not mistaken, will close for private parties (esp. on a sunday).
