Anyone Have the Sur La Table Line of Stainless Pans?
I'm looking to replace a set of my old Cuisinart Anodized pans. The finish is starting to come off and I've noticed black bits in food. (not good).
With that said, I'm looking to go stainless. I already have a stainless stockpot (8 quart) and a few non stick pans for eggs and or fish. I'll most likely be looking to purchase a few individual pans (5 quart saute' pan, 10" skillet and a sauce pan or two).
How are the Sur La Table stainless pans? They seem to be a cheaper solution to the All-Clad and Viking brands. Can anyone vouch for these?

I have the Sur La Table stainless triply set if that's what you're referring to. It is very nice cookware, very comparable in performance, weight, and finish to All-Clad and IMO the SLT handles are more comfortable. I also have various pieces of All-Clad, Walmart's triply Tramontina cookware, and Calphalon triply and don't notice any performance differences between the various manufacturers.

I have three; 3 and 5 qt. stainless saute pans and a small stainless skillet. I love them and fail to detect any difference between them and the similar all-clad pans I've used. I probably use the 5 qt saute the most; on the stove top for soups, stews, curries, and lots more. In the oven to braise.
