Paris, Table du Baltimore

Anybody been there recently? I am toying with the idea of going there next week for a French classic meal as I will be Av. Kleber for business. Other recommendations in the "walking distance" neighborhood"?

Le Cinq is in the walking neighborhood. So are the good places of rue Lauriston (Conti, La Table Lauriston, Lac Hong and also a fourth one), and La Table de Joel Robuchon.

La Table du Baltimore is not bad, but not interesting. They have a good wine list and decent cooking, without great emotion. It's a very "Bottin Gourmand" place -- the boss of the guide is a known regular.

Many thanks Souphie for your comment. I will re-think... and report on my return.

I was eternally scarred by my meals at Bertie's there.
Maybe it's shaken off the curse, it's been long enuf - Lord knows.
I'd say Flora (Mikula) tho' a bit down the Champs
      or Le Charbon Rouge

If you do do the Baltimore though, please report back. (Tx

John, thank you for the suggestions.
I am thinking of the restaurant proper... Has a Michelin rosette and good reviews. Will certainly report if I make it there.
