Dinner between MSY and the Garden District

We're looking for a good quick local place between MSY and the Garden District to stop for dinner on a Thursday. I was thinking about Parran's but they are only open until 7:30 - we wouldn't be there by then unless our plane is right on time.

Try Fausto's-Italian -at the east end of veteran's hiway near Dorignac's and on that side of the street....close enough to the connection of the expressway so U can get back on and shoot to the airport

How about a "new" old favorite - Charlie's Seafood on Jefferson Highway in Harahan. Reopened last summer by the Brigtsens of Brigtsen's Restaurant. It's a casual, neighborhood seafood joint and you could take St. Charles, then River Road, to Jeff Hwy. I think it would be about 15 or 20 minutes from there to the airport. Good fried, boiled, and grilled seafood.

        Thanks. These are great suggestions.

We are arriving at MSY on Thursday. We need a quick dinner between MSY and the Garden District because we need to be up and out very early on Friday morning.

Galley In Metairie or Bozo in Metairie Both have great seafood.

Someone mentioned Sid Mars has now reopened. that place is amazing! Go there

Why does it have to be between MSY and the Garden District and not simply in the Garden District, like Croquette.
