Without a doubt you have to look into Bukhara Grill. Vicky Vij is the owner and catering manager. They have a restaurant in midtown (highly recommend going there too--and getting the lamb chops which are probably the best I've ever had). Bukhara Grill has catered weddings all over the tri-state area and their food is excellent. They do everything from low-cost small affairs to high end events (they did Salman Rushdie and Padma Lakshmi's wedding and part of the White House Diwali celebration).
