It's in the North (Santa Rosa), but they make EVERYTHING there, including the tortillas, worth a stop there, if you are in that area.
Good food, friendly service, good prices!

Poc Chuc is mentioned in the thread that wolfe links, and it would be my choice. Just had a great lunch there Saturday, with the tortillas and habanero salsa being a highlight, as always. I got excited because they had albondigas on the specials list, but none were available. This turned out to not be as sad as I initially thought, as I tried the salpicon de res, also on the specials list, and it was great. Tangy, flavorful, and perfect with those tortillas. Served warm. Recommended, and a great lunch as well as a great change of pace (you won't find salpicon on many menus in SF, and certainly not in my new home town of Merced, that I know of...).
Heads up: Poc Chuc is now closed on Sundays as well as on Wednesdays.

re: wolfe
Seems like most of these offer fresh corn tortillas....do any of them also do fresh flour ones? It's sad when I have to go to Chevy's to try and get tasty tortillas....
I did try the ones at El Molino in Concord and were disappointed. Perhaps I got a bad batch because everyone else seems to like them?
