Hey guys. Looking for any good restaurant suggestions to take a first date around or near 37th and 8th ave for thursday. Not looking for anything extremely classy but nice. Where a nice shirt, jeans, and shoes would be acceptable. Any suggestions or advice would be great. Thanks.

There is also a new Latin American place called Crudo in the area, though I've never been.

That is a tough neighborhood for a date-y place. Tir Na Nog (33rd & 8th), an upscale Irish pub, has good food, and it's an attractive space. But in the early evening it is lousy with commuters and quite loud.
