Boulder Colorado - Take Out / Delivery or Traveling Food Truck

a

My family is planning a reunion in July. I am doing some preliminary research on good delivery/take out. I have even heard there are some good 'food trucks' that will travel. That would be a fun option where everyone can order what they want.

The area of town is near 55th if that helps for suggestions.

Depends on what kind of food you folks like. For starters, since it's July, you might consider The Rib House. See http://www.theribhouse.com/. Since it's Boulder, they offer more than just pork.

Be aware that in summer, many of the trucks are committed to farmers' markets, at least through early afternoon. If you want to snare one for later in the day, go to http://boulderfarmers.org/boulder/bou... and scroll down to "Prepared Food Vendors" on the righthand column. Some have website. Some would require some research on your part.

Pupusa's Sabor Latino has a cart, too. They are not on that list but make really good food. You can usually see the cart at 95th and S. Boulder Rd., and if you haven't been to the restaurant on N. Broadway it's worth the trip!

I had no idea this was owned by Pupusa's Sabor Latino! It's just a couple of blocks from home. Thanks for cluing me in!

I didn't know either. I've been to the pupusa shop in north Boulder and the cart in Louisville, and just assumed pupusas are popular all of a sudden.

Pupusas Sabor Latino has been open in Boulder for at least three years. I don't think the newer cart in Louisville is under the same ownership.

Right you are, rlm. The cart just says "Pupusas" on it.

Just a bit east of 55th (on Arapahoe) is KT's BBQ
        http://www.ktsbbq.com/index.cfm
It's been my favorite BBQ for more than 15 yrs, & everyone I know who's tried any other BBQ in the Front Range area all like KT's best.

Does anyone know how to contact The Green Gringo? It is owned by Cyrus Stoker and Chris Long. Sounds like a cool truck and good food-- but I can't find a good link to a website or a phone number.

I know that this is an old post, and it has passed the July date of your reunion, but in case anyone else reads this thread in a search:

there have been a couple of recent "Food Truck" additions to Boulder. Comida and StrEat Chefs. I have eaten at both and both are quite excellent.
