Fountain Hills recs

We are moving house and while still in Scottsdale we are going to be on the far east now so Fountain Hills is actually closer than some of our usual places to eat.

I've searched for recs in Fountain Hills and haven't come up with much on this board.

So I guess the question is do I just accept 15 more minutes drive west along Shea to eat or are there are some good things to be had pointing the car east.

Redendo's pizza -- both in Fountain Hills & northeast Scottsale. Casual pizzeria, but excellent food cooked to order. Nice pizza, garlic knots, salad, etc.

Osha Thai -- northeast Scottsdale Thai

Pita House -- Middle Eastern in Fountain Hills

Pizza is always a good thing to go eat after a move because it's easy and you can always have a few slices left over for unpacking time the next day.

So we'll give that a go the first night, thanks :)

I second Redendo's. They do a really good Sicilian style pizza, which you don't see or get around these parts.

Just dropping in to say thanks for the Redendo's rec.

It was perfect for the day we moved in, cute little place and pretty good pizza :) My boys shared spaghetti and meatballs and enjoyed it a lot, noodles flying everywhere.

They had a gumbo on special which seemed kind of out of place so we ordered a cup just to check it out and that was pretty good too.

All in all a cute place and close to us now so will probably be a place we visit or get takeout from on some busy days.
