question about using the Dough button of the Cuisinart food processor

Has anyone had good luck in using the Dough button of the Cuisinart food processor (plus dough blade) to knead the dough for bread? I have seen some comments that it does not work well.

I don't know how the "dough button" on the Cuisinart works but for making dough all you need is a method for pulsing the ingredients and controlling the pulse. Anything else, IMO, is a marketing gimmick.
