Best Croissants on the UES?

Have a hankering for a really good croissant, just wondering if there are any standouts.

It would have been Payard until they closed. However, I have seen that Butterfield's market on Lex between 78th and 79th is now carrying some Payard things. I don't know if it is only cakes & chocolates, but it is probably worth a phone call to find out.

Ceci Cela makes my favorite croissants in the city. Though they are located down in soho, they do wholesale distribution to a number of places...not sure where on the UES would have them but it's worth finding out!

This is so not at all on the UES but have you ever tried the croissants at the Donut Pub on 14th? I have no idea why, but they're pretty amazing, or at least they used to be. And it's 24 hrs!
