Tupelo's fried chicken and ribs...

Read about this in Boston Magazine...apparently on Sunday nights they serve a plate of fried chicken, smoked ribs, grits and coleslaw for $18. Mmmm. Sounds awesome...Has anyone tried this? Would love a report, esp on the fried chicken; always looking for a good version of this...and as we know, pickin's are slim in Boston on this front....TIA

I have had their fried chicken at brunch, as part of their chicken & waffles entree. I very much enjoyed the chicken. It had a crisp and crunchy skin with moist meat inside. Plus, I do love the fried grits they serve. That is a must order, even if you don't normally like grits.

so far the best fried chicken i've found in this area is the bon chon korean fried chicken at Privus on Brighton Avenue. Grand stuff.
