any loaf recommendations at balthazar bakery?
Most all their breads are excellent. The standard baguette is very good, though I like them when they look a bit more well done and crispy. They have a large round whole wheat that is excellent too. If you are going to the restaurant downtown, and the little bakery next door, do not leave without purchasing their baked goods. Many are excellent.
I love the taste of their ciabatta bread, but the only problem is that it's very hole-y. To the point where there's sometimes more hole than bread.
