Hi, my husband and I are going to New York to see Russell Peters at Radio City Music Hall on a Saturday night. Show starts at 8:00pm so we decided we should pick a place close by that we can walk to. Anyone have any recos? We are total foodies so love great food, great atmosphere and don't want anything too crazy expensive since the whole weekend will be a spending frenzy :-) ...i.e. not more than $200 for the two of us (we aren't drinkers). Any suggestions would be fabulous! Also open to any genre of food, Italian, Asian etc.

Interesting suggestion of La Grenouille.. and their pre-theater menu doesn't look bad for $59. I actually made a reservation at dbBistro Moderne but their pre-theater menu seems more limited than La Grenouille.

Agree with the Alto recommendation. Since they are not drinking, they should be able to stay within their budget.

Another excellent option is dbBistro Moderne. In addition to the more pricey a la carte menu, they offer a pre-theater 3-course prix fixe for $48. Our recent dinner there was a la carte.
