Chicken Parm

Looking for an italian restaurant with outstanding Chicken Parm on the west side in Los Angeles. Will travel to Hollywood too. Suggestions?

Bear with me a second. The best eggplant parm I have ever had is at the Rainbow Bar and Grill. Haven't had their chicken parm, but if the eggplant is anything to go by, I would give that a whirl. I think it's somewhere between $15-$17. And the people watching is far superior to most eateries in the Los Angeles area. You just have to be okay with listening to Queensryche while you eat.

Haven't been there (Amici) in a long time. How are the crowds these days? What is that huge "for lease" banner in their front window on San Vicente (is it just to let folks know that the building has other space available perhaps)?

A pretty typical Brentwood-Westside crowd. If you stay away from the bottled water and the specials it is almost reasonable. Never noticed the lease signs but there are other spaces in the building.

Thanks - looks like the place is still open! And at $20 vs. $29 it might be a great option. Anyone ever had it at Dominics on Beverly? I can't find reviews!

Great, but ridiculously priced (around $27 or $28 IIRC) is the version at Dan Tana's.
